Job Summary

The IT Integrator is a key player in the cooperation between IT and Business drive to make complex changes happen within and across Tribes. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the translation of business requirements in a sequence that delivers customer value as early as possible (strong Minimum Viable Product mindset). You support the breakdown of features into user stories to ensure that business epics are translated into working IT solutions. You define and align the roadmaps between squads from same or different Tribes and other parts of the organization and thoroughly manage dependencies.

Your success is not based on your hierarchical position but based on your strong communication and collaboration skills your results delivered your extensive knowledge of current and future state and your added value for ING and for the teams you work with.

The team

The role is for the Global Treasury Operations area in PSS organization. You will be part of a Chapter of IT Integrators working for GT Ops IT Areas (Cash Management and Payment Investigation).

Roles and responsibilities

The feature engineer has to be able to

  • translate new product / services needs into required IT solutions and translate business requirements into features and stories by using IT & Business knowledge
  • breakdown epics into features together with relevant stakeholders (Architects Epic Owners (Central) Product Owners) and assign the features (and underlying user stories) to the relevant squads and lead the accurate feature definition and estimation. The definition of done has to be defined together with the product owner(s).
  • define correlation and dependencies between squads within a tribe or across tribes but also other parts of the organization.
  • ensure features delivery (Planning coordination dependencies management)
  • own the planning of the end-to-end integration and realization of the work (across squads and/or Tribes) and oversee sprints align / coordinate the work across the whole chain
  • identify (and manage) risks and potential issues and offer improvements across tribes.
  • identify and manage dependencies for features and epics across different tribes.

Become an intermediary between PSS local US and central ING FMGT and Lending business lines. Aligning between different stakeholders how the bookings and settlement required to become a branch in the US can be administrated in central (FMGT PSS and Lending) systems.

This will stretch across multime timezones for (US Europe Asia) as well as multi tribe implementations (PSS FMGT and Lending)

Experience and specialized knowledge

  • Track record of working in high performing Agile teams and good understanding of Agile/DevOps practices and methodologies /Scrum Scaling Continuous Delivery automated testing.
  • Proven track record in IT environment (design & implementation) Architecture Infrastructure software (knowledge of the working); affinity with IT concepts (Continuous Delivery BDD engineering skills and technologies).
  • Track record in reducing complexity and of delivering complex IT initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrates mastery in writing skills understandable and easy to read features.
    • Knowledge of Cash and Liquidity Management is a pro
    • Knowledge of the function of a payment and a settlement in banking landscape
    • Basic knowledge on Market Infrastructure (Target2 CHAPS FEDwire SEPA)
    • Basic Knowledge of payment systems/engines/message formats and order managers
    • Knowledge of Dovetail LoanIQ and/or Calypso is an pro
    • Knowledge on Confluence Sharepoint Azure Devops
