Culver School District is seeking a6-12th Grade 1.0 FTE Art Teacher. This would be an ideal position for a flexible candidate with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for instructing middle and high school age students.

The candidate must be able to use highly effective engagement practices and differentiated instruction to reach the various needs of our learners. The candidate must be able to interact with students parents colleagues and community members in a positive respectful and responsible manner. The candidate is expected to believe in the success of every student and to inspire them to achieve that success.

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon Teacher License preferred
• Endorsed to teach Art at Middle and High School Levels preferred
• Knowledge of current concepts methods and procedures for curriculum development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate in a positive manner
• Knowledge and implementation of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
• Skilled at Formative & Summative Assessment Practices that align with the CCSS
• Skilled at Differentiated Instructional Practices
• Skilled at Student Engagement Practices
• Desire to be a part of the Culver school community outside of the classroom

• ESOL Endorsement desireable
