Microns Treasury internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple Treasury functions including Cash & Investment Management Foreign Exchange Capital Markets Credit & Collections and Risk Management & Insurance. Interns will rotate through these areas working closely with mentors and contributing to both daily operations and project-based initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can leverage programming skills to drive process improvement and automation throughout the internship. We are also looking for candidates who have strong communication skills ability to engage well with others in group settings a self-starter and someone who is interested in pursuing a career in corporate finance after college.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Treasury operations
Counterparty risk analysis
Net interest forecasting
Support automation and process improvement initiatives using programming languages business intelligence tools and AI-driven agents

Foreign exchange interest rate and commodity analysis

Capital markets
Credit & collections
Overview of underwriting
Risk management
Insurance

Ad-hoc and project-specific research

Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:
Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
Experience using programming languages (e.g. Python R SQL) and AI-driven scripting agents
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams

The ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to follow comprehensive instructions work with minimal supervision prioritize and multi-task effectively and be diligent and eager to learn

Education:
Working towards Bachelors Degree in Business Finance Accounting Economics Information Systems Engineering Computer Science or a related field
