About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python to design build and optimize data pipelines and solutions. The ideal candidate will have prior Capital One experience and a proven track record of working with large-scale data systems in financial or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python.

Collaborate with data scientists analysts and engineers to deliver reliable and secure data solutions.

Work with both structured and unstructured data across relational and NoSQL databases.

Implement data quality checks validation processes and monitoring solutions.

Optimize existing workflows for performance scalability and cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with data governance security and privacy standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.

Strong expertise in Python for data engineering and automation.

Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies (RDBMS NoSQL).

Knowledge of data modeling ETL frameworks and distributed data processing.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and modern data tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirement

Ex-Capital One experience is required (must have worked previously at Capital One).
