About the role

As the Talent Acquisition Lead for Southeast Asia (SEA) youll be a critical strategic partner in shaping Canvas growth across Southeast Asia by identifying attracting and closing the best leadership and high-impact talent across a wide range of functions including Marketing Growth Finance Customer Service Country Leadership and beyond.

This role is based in our SEA headquarters where you will also serve as the local TA Leadpartnering closely with local People teams championing regional programs and sharing market insights and knowledge with our global teams.

In this role youll lead and build a high-performing TA team partner with senior stakeholders and navigate a fast-changing talent landscape especially as new roles emerge in the age of AI and rapid digital transformation.

What youd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.

At the moment this role is focused on:

• Operating as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership challenging assumptions and co-owning hiring strategy.

• Coaching and developing a high-performing TA team across SEA uplifting capability and embedding a culture of trust autonomy and accountability.

• Creating clarity in ambiguity knowing when to hack scale or reinvent hiring processes as Canva evolves.

• Leading with pace and purpose setting bold direction and proactively proposing impactful solutions.

• Building strong partnerships across Philippines leaders key business leaders global TA teams and Total Rewards to drive strategic sustainable hiring across the region.
