Power BI Engineer

Location: Fort Worth Texas

We are seeking a talented Power BI Engineer to join our growing IT team. This role will design develop and maintain modern data solutions that support both business intelligence and application development initiatives. The position requires hands-on expertise in Power BI SSIS Angular and SQL with a balance of technical depth and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Data Visualization: Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
Front-End Development: Create and maintain user-friendly web applications using Angular for internal and client-facing solutions.
Data Integration: Design and implement ETL workflows with SSIS to move and transform data across multiple sources.
Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and triggers to support applications and reporting.
Collaboration: Partner with analysts data scientists and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Data Quality & Security: Ensure data accuracy consistency and compliance across all systems.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance of data pipelines queries and applications.

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen due to project requirements.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

4 years developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
4 years writing and optimizing SQL queries in relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
1 years building web applications with Angular (Angular 2 preferred).
1 years working with SSIS for ETL processes.

Technical Skills:

Power BI expertise in data modeling DAX and visualization.
Strong knowledge of SSIS for ETL and automation.
Proficiency in Angular TypeScript and front-end best practices.
Advanced SQL skills including optimization and database design.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and data warehousing is a plus.

Ability to manage priorities and deliver on deadlines.
