Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategy for IT to ensure efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Collaborate with Regional Category Management team in category strategy alignment and support regional category sourcing activity.
- Work with Global business service team in daily operations for purchase requisition fulfillment.
- Act as a valuable connection between internal collaborators (IT Facility department etc.) and suppliers to assess bargain and choose suppliers according to quality cost and delivery performance.
- Negotiate contracts terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible terms for the company.
- Optimize supplier pool and manage vendors for enhanced efficiency and improved service.
- Implement efficiency know-how and partner proactively with category manager and internal collaborators to improve team efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities costs and performance to senior management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in procurement preferably in IT.
- Proven experience in procuring or managing IT infrastructure including servers networks and data centers Software and IT consulting.
- Ability to work under pressure with many urgent cases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with global shared services is preferred.
- Experience with cross-regional projects in APAC is preferred.
- Proficiency in Japanese and Korean languages is preferred.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools is preferred.
- Experience with top 500 foreign companies is preferred.
