Childcare Center Cook
Schedule: Full-Time Monday Friday
Pay: $20 per hour

- Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet childrens dietary and developmental needs.
- Track and manage food allergies for each child and clearly communicate with teachers daily.
- Maintain food safety standards including proper handling sanitation and storage.
- Partner with Center Leadership to order food/supplies and maintain inventory records per state/local requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward children families and staff.
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet the daily needs of a busy childcare center.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in food preparation/cooking (childcare school or institutional setting preferred).
- Current food handling certificate or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for supporting the health and well-being of children.
