About Our Practice

Team members hired into the Womens Health Resource role will provide temporary clinical staffing support at 18 Womens Health practices across West Michigan. Assignments vary in length from 1 day (covering ill call scheduled vacation etc.) up to 3-4 months (covering leaves of absence open positions etc.). This position does require some travel to various site around West Michigan. The goal is to keep team members as close to home as possible while meeting business needs. Team members will not be required to travel over 60 miles (one way) from home address on file to daily work location. Mileage Reimbursement is paid when locations meet requirements.

Scope of work

As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health youll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. Youll be a vital part of our team making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Time Requirements

Minimum team member availability of 2 shifts per week (32 hours per 2-week pay period). You are not guaranteed these hours but we require you to be available. You are also able to work up to full-time hours should you be available and the need be present.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 120 Days
  • One of the following Required within 120 Days
    • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
    • AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
    • NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
    • NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
    • NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
