Position Title: Travel Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Job Type: Contract Travel
Shift: Night / 4x10s
Pay Range: $65$70/hour ($2700$2900/week)
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking TravelUltrasound Technologistfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (CHEA or US DOE-approved)
RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN
Minimum 1 year of diagnostic sonography experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic sonography exams independently
Review patient medical history before exams
Differentiate between normal and abnormal findings
Communicate results clearly to radiologists
Manage lab operations including scheduling equipment maintenance and quality assurance
Follow hospital protocols and safety standards
Provide patient-centered care and communicate professionally with patients families and staff
Assist in training new staff or students as needed
