Job Description
Summary/objective
To recruit and enroll qualified college bound high school students to Randolph College.

As part of a proactive recruitment team you will be expected to:
Competencies
Each admission counselor will receive interdisciplinary training and be required to work with students from all segments of the Colleges market (undergraduate-First Year Transfer and International). An admission counselor will have a designated set of key responsibilities. Based on business requirements continuing assessments of best practices and team activities counselors will separately service each market for the length of time and in what depth that is deemed appropriate. High school students and families high school staff and/or community partnerships will be the main areas of attention for counselors due to the high degree of involvement that these audiences require.
Supervisory responsibilities
Utilize communication among College personnel and resources to efficiently manage and carry out designated liaison responsibilities. Supervise student workers/volunteers for specific projects as needed.
Work environment
In addition to in office responsibilities frequent travel is required. Flexible work hours are necessary during the week along with occasional weekend or evening work travel and overnight stays. Must have the ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for an extended amount of time.
Physical demands
May periodically lift 25-50 pounds or may walk and/or bend to carry-out certain periods of time standing or walking at events fairs and on-campus tours.
Travel required
25-50% of travel includes but not limited to day trips overnight stays.
Required education and experience
Bachelors degree.

Must have a valid U.S. drivers license with a clean driving record.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must meet employment requirements to work legally in the U.S. and be able to pass a background check as a condition of employment.

Education: Bachelors degree required.
Experience: Experience in recruitment sales or outreach in a fast-paced goal-oriented operation
strongly preferred.
Specialized Skills: Team and service-oriented. Able to effectively manage time. Strong public
speaking interpersonal and writing abilities required. Must be an intelligent people-person and enjoy
working with target audience (whether teenagers young adults or working professionals) as well
school personnel. Knowledge or interest in learning best practices in enrollment a key. Valid
drivers license and clean driving record required as is ability to transport recruitment materials.
Commitment to integrity in the admissions process. Ability to speak Spanish and/or international
experience or interest would be beneficial.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Extensive travel in addition to office work. Position requires flexible hours during week with
sometimes significant evening or weekend work travel and overnight stays is required. Must be able to
work at desk and on computer for long periods of time. May occasionally lift 10/15 lbs. or may walk
and/or bend in the performance of the job functions. Valid drivers license required.
