The Opportunity
Are you an experienced leader with strong strategic planning capabilities excellent administrative insight and a passion for supporting research and teaching excellence The School of Earth Atmosphere & Environment is seeking a dedicated School Manager to join the leadership team.
As School Manager you will:
Support the Head of School to deliver the Schools strategy and ensure seamless alignment with operations
Manage and oversee all governance and administrative functions including finance human resources
Oversee the Schools operational budget undertake strategic planning and implement and monitor a sustainable resource framework
Lead and implement change initiatives across the School by fostering inclusive consultation ensuring strategies are aligned with educational objectives and maintaining effective communication with staff and students throughout transitions
Provide leadership and direction to administrative technical and professional staff ensuring highquality service delivery and effective support for all stakeholders
Provide advice to the Head of School and members of the School Executive contributing strategic and operational insight to decisionmaking at the highest level
As the successful candidate you will have experience in strategic leadership preferably in a university or large complex organisational environment and strong financial acumen with experience overseeing budgets resource allocation and financial planning.
