The Communications Officer 1-3 provides technical advice on personal computer-based operations and the operations of the trunked radio system. Completes all necessary forms to maintain proper up-to-date verification of radio assignments. Effectively monitors diagnoses and repairs problems that cause radio system telephone system or computer system failure. Monitors hazardous weather and/or other situations and notifies area agents.

Location:This position is located within the Enforcement Division of the Office of the Secretary inBaton Rouge LA.
Compensation: This position is eligible for Shift Differential additionalcompensation per hourin addition to their normal hourly rate under the following circumstances for each hour worked provided funding is available.
