Role Overview
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and supporting administrative functions. The role requires accuracy attention to detail and the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations
- Process payroll and calculate staff commissions with accuracy.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable efficiently.
- Maintain precise financial records and prepare periodic financial reports.
- Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
- Handle petty cash transactions.
- Prepare and process loan application documentation for applicants.
2. Administrative Functions
- Administer employee leave applications (subject to managers approval).
- Coordinate ad hoc projects such as testing center bookings and related payments.
- Update and maintain historical accounting records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders.
3. Compliance & Financial Analysis
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial analysis activities.
- Liaise with internal teams and external auditors for financial reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
