We are seeking a highly motivated Privacy Officer to join our this role you will be the key point of contact for all privacy-related matters within your business domain working closely with cross-functional teams and ensuring that data protection practices are embedded into daily operations. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with privacy regulations and driving a culture of data protection across the organization.
You will:
- Act as the (delegated) process owner for domain/country-specific privacy procedures ensuring full compliance with internal policies and data protection regulations.
- Maintain and regularly update the domains register of processing activities (ROPA) documenting data processing operations accurately and transparently.
- Oversee the follow-up of non-compliance issues within your domain working with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Support the identification assessment and escalation of privacy incidents and data breaches in a timely and compliant manner.
- Conduct or assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) identifying risks in new or existing data processing activities and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Legal and Procurement teams to review contracts ensuring the inclusion of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and alignment with privacy requirements.
- Promote privacy awareness by delivering training and updates and stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices to inform stakeholders.

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data privacy compliance or related areas
- Solid understanding of GDPR and comparable data protection laws with practical experience applying them in day-to-day business operations
- Experience working in consumer-facing environments is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to handle confidential data with integrity and discretion
- Passion for staying current with privacy trends technologies and regulatory developments
