Job Summary
Job Description: Locum to Perm Physician - Oncology
Join a thriving free-standing cancer center located in beautiful Greenville South Carolina. This practice specializes in both benign hematology and malignant oncology providing care to a diverse population of adult and geriatric patients. You will be part of a collaborative team made up of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers. This position offers a locum to permanent transition and is ideal for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a Tumor Board for case discussions and treatment planning
- Manage Bone Marrow Transplants and Blood Bank orders
- Order tests and images as needed
- Prescribe appropriate treatments
- Collaborate with a Nurse Oncologist for the administration of chemotherapy
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active South Carolina medical license (candidates needing to obtain a state license will be considered) - REQUIRED
- BLS certification - REQUIRED
- DEA certification - REQUIRED
- MUST submit to both locations for consideration - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
