Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer Reticulation and Overhead Lines to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning design and implementation of low and medium voltage electrical reticulation systems for residential commercial or industrial developments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Design and layout of LV/MV electrical reticulation systems (urban rural and industrial)
Prepare and review technical drawings specifications and reports
Conduct site inspections and technical assessments
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including civil structural and utility stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local and national electrical regulations and safety standards
Liaise with municipalities and utility service providers for approvals
Prepare cost estimates and tender documentation and manage contractors on-site

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc / BEng)
Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng registration (or working toward registration)
Minimum of 35 years experience in electrical reticulation design
Proficient in AutoCAD ReticMaster or similar design tools
Strong knowledge of SANS NRS and municipal standards
Valid drivers license and own transport

Strong communication and coordination abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with Eskom municipalities or Developers
