Were on the lookout for a detail-driven results-oriented Accountant whos comfortable juggling multiple portfolios working closely with different teams and managing a full range of financial responsibilities from journal processing to site visits.

Youll be joining a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment where accuracy accountability and communication are key.
This role offers full exposure to financial reporting across multiple entitiesyoull own your numbers and your voice will matter.
Your day-to-day will include:
Monthly reporting budget variance analysis and management pack prep
Balance sheet recons VAT finalisation and loan/interest calculations
Processing a wide range of journals (depreciation accruals salaries etc.)
Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and supporting annual valuations
Assisting with audit processes and tax computations
Performing site visits and building a deep understanding of your portfolios
Ad hoc analysis including adjustment accounts and feasibility studies
Working with internal teams to resolve queries and keep things moving
Youll manage 58 portfolios each with its own nuancesso multitasking time management and clear communication are vital.
WHO WERE LOOKING FOR:
Youre hands-on sharp with numbers and dont wait to be told what to do. You understand the flow of a finance department and thrive in an environment that moves quickly and expects ownership.
What youll need:
BCom Accounting Degree (essential)
Completed SAIPA articles (advantageous)
Minimum 35 years of accounting experience including articles
Strong understanding of VAT and IFRS for SMEs
Excellent Excel skills and working knowledge of Word
Bonus points if you know MDA Property Management
A confident communicator who enjoys working with non-financial teams
Ability to keep up with high volumes and tight reporting deadlines
