Mō te tūnga About the role
Were building out our modern data platform at Taranaki Regional Council and we are looking for a Data Developer experienced with integrations across a hybrid environment (Azure Cloud an on-prem) to join our Digital Technology team.
This is a permanent full-time role focused on enabling secure automated and governed data connectivity across our digital ecosystem. Youll be working alongside our data systems and infrastructure engineers to design and implement robust integrations APIs and data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services. Your work will help ensure our systems talk to each other efficiently and securely supporting analytics operations and compliance across the organisation. Youll contribute to shaping how data is used and shared across the Council. Youll help develop reusable data models integration patterns and best practices that support a wide range of initiativesfrom environmental monitoring and reporting to operational efficiency and community engagement. This is a hands-on role with plenty of scope to influence how we build and evolve our data platform.
We have a number of exciting projects underway and this role will be key to delivering the integration and automation components that underpin them. Youll be working with tools like Azure Logic Apps Functions Data Factory Synapse and Graph API and contributing to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
