Travel Expectations

This role includes a variable regional travel requirement estimated at 20%50% per month depending on program needs. While telehealth services are also provided you will primarily travel to support EMPOWER sites:

  • New Bern
  • Elizabeth City
  • Ahoskie
  • Greenville
  • Morehead City
  • Wilmington

All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay and depending on cost-effectiveness a travel vehicle may be provided. Youll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What Youll Do

  • Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments & develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
  • Train and mentor staff DSPs and supervisors in ABA best practices.
  • Collaborate across service lines (EMPOWER ICS ABA) to maximize outcomes.
  • Deliver in-service training & represent ESPH at professional conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
  • Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
  • Experience:
    • 1 years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
    • 1 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity (preferred)
  • Strong written/verbal communication organization and time management skills
  • Valid drivers license proof of insurance and unrestricted driving privileges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
  • Ability to work effectively with participants families and teams in homes schools and community settings
