As our new Personal & Physical Security Expert you ensurse the security of our Managing Banking Board and the sage execution of high profile internal and external events. By providing independent risk assessments and developing robust security plans you strengthens our resilience and reputation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Independently perform threat and risk assessments for executives and events.
- Identify geopolitical operational and reputational threats impacting ING.
- Develop and implement executive protection and event security plans.
- Align with INGs risk appetite global security standards and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate with relevant internal functions and external partners (government law enforcement private security providers).
- Serve as first responder and security advisor during incidents involving executives or events.
- Support crisis communication and escalation towards senior management.
- Provide clear reports and recommendations to management and Executive Board.
- Ensure compliance with INGs Physical Security standards and external legal requirements.
How to succeed
- University degree (Security Management Crisis & Security or equivalent).
- 710 years of professional experience in executive protection event security or protective services.
- Proven experience drafting and implementing risk assessments and security plans.
- International experience and established network with authorities/security providers.
Competencies
- Analytical and able to translate complex threats into pragmatic measures.
- Effective communicator able to advise at Board-level.
- Decisive under pressure; resilient and adaptable.
- Trusted discreet and reliable in sensitive contexts.
- Strong collaborator across cultures and organisational layers.
