Job Summary

Heres What You Need

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Experience:
Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required.
One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required

LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.

Skills
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment positive interpersonal skills good verbal and written communication skills able to perform basic computer skills.

What You Will Do

Provides daily care that achieves outcome targets for core measures NPSG employee satisfaction patient satisfaction NDNQI and other unit/organizational metrics; demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and development; demonstrates a commitment to advancing the professional practice of paramedicine; incorporates ethical principles from the Texas Department of State Health Services EMT Code of Ethics.
KPIs Assists in meeting departmental/hospital KPIs related to: Patient outcomes customer satisfaction financial performance organizational effectiveness and community health care.

Work hours: 3-night shifts per week full-time 7:00PM to 7:00AM and includes rotating weekends and holidays.
