Job Description
Junior Product Development Engineer / Graduate Mechanical Engineer required to join a leading UK manufacturer specialising in innovative engineered products.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career mechanical engineer who is looking to develop their skills in product development and design. Working as part of a dedicated engineering team youll gain exposure to niche industry projects CAD design and product development processes while receiving strong mentorship and training.
The company offers excellent progression opportunities with clear pathways into design commercial production and technical leadership roles over time.
Package
Up to 28000 (depending on experience)
25 days holiday bank holidays

Monday to Friday standard office hours
Office-based in Bromsgrove (local candidates preferred)
Role
Support the development and design of new products and assemblies
Produce and amend 3D CAD models (SolidWorks) and design documentation
Assist with smaller product development projects while supporting senior engineers with larger tasks
Gain understanding of sector-specific requirements such as performance standards and product testing criteria
Present project work and thought processes during training and development reviews
Work closely with the Product Development Manager and cross-functional teams (production sales commercial)
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Product Design or related discipline
Proficiency with SolidWorks (essential)
Competence in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop Illustrator etc.) highly desirable
Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and independent approach to work
Willingness to learn and develop quickly within a busy engineering environment
Must be local to the Bromsgrove area or commutable within the UK
