Senior Executive, Carbon Markets Academy

The Carbon Market Academy of Singapore (CMAS) aspires to be Asias top academy for carbon management education with an emphasis on supporting Singapores objective of becoming a Carbon Services and Trading Hub for Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific region. It is looking for a Senior Executive who will play a critical role in the effective delivery of CMAS programmes and initiatives. He/She will work closely with various parts of the university and the industry to achieve its goals.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with and build a network with a wide range of stakeholders within the Carbon Market industry in Singapore and the surrounding region. Besides playing a key role in the successful rollout of capacity building programmes the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute directly to thought-leadership initiatives and various collaborations with industry.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure administrative and operational matters are executed according to CMAS Governance requirements in particular budgeting and reporting

• Support the planning and operational execution of CMAS initiatives across its Brand Building Courses and Thought Leadership focus areas. This may include event management working with partners to launch digital campaigns etc.

• Establish and manage relationships with Industry Partners Participants Faculty and Vendors to deliver against CMASs initiatives

• Lead the documentation and reporting on CMAS initiatives. This may include developing frameworks or processes for workplan implementation.

• Deliver in general programme management and administration requirements.

The candidate should have:

• Bachelors degree in business or any related field.

• 1 to 2 years work experience in administrative event management and programme management roles.

• Proven experience in programme management and administration (budgeting reporting) would be an advantage

• Ability to work with people of various levels and cultures with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Excellent writing communication and organizational skills.

• Versatile Independent self-starter who takes ownership and accountability.

• Demonstrated interest in Sustainability and/or Carbon Market related topics would be advantageous.
