Job Summary

Classified Services is responsible for Aerospaces classified enterprise IT environment. As a Classified Systems Administrator (Site Reliability Engineer Staff III) you will oversee server and endpoint infrastructure that supports some of the companys most critical missions. You will join a company that develops cutting edge solutions for our nations most complex space enterprise and mission assurance challenges.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our facility in El Segundo CA.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Perform all aspects of system administration including:
    • Installing configuring and patching operating systems and applications
    • Managing user accounts permissions and group policies
    • Maintaining and monitoring system performance and availability
    • Responding to and resolving incidents from Tier 1 user support through Tier 3 complex technical issues
  • Administer secure and maintain a diverse infrastructure including:
    • Windows Server/Active Directory Windows Desktop Red Hat Enterprise Linux VMWare Hyper-V and AWS/Azure
    • Docker & Kubernetes
  • Administer and improve endpoint protection backup and disaster recovery capabilities
  • Develop PowerShell and Ansible scripts to automate administration and compliance tasks
  • Evaluate and remediate security findings from Tenable (ACAS) and SCAP/STIG tools
  • Maintain compliance with RMF NIST 800-53 and DISA STIG requirements

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for Site Reliability Engineer Staff III:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • DoD approved 8570/8140 baseline certification such as Security or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelors Degree or 8 or more years of relevant experience with Masters Degree
  • Proficiency with Windows Server/Active Directory Windows Desktop and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Working knowledge of RMF NIST 800-53 and DISA STIGs
  • Demonstrated ability to remediate vulnerabilities identified by ACAS and SCAP tools
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V VMWare VSphere)
  • Experience automating repetitive tasks with scripting or DevSecOps tools
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience in designing deploying and securing complex IT architectures on prem and in the cloud (AWS Azure)

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge and skills.
