ABNA is seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Administrative Assistant for our
Springfield IL location to join the ABNA family!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to
provide support to the Land Acquisitions team during a temporary 3-month assignment.
This position is onsite in Springfield IL and requires a candidate who can jump in quickly to
assist with administrative tasks and keep things running smoothly. The ideal candidate must
be proficient in planning prioritizing and organizing a diversified workload and comfortable
acting as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies. Candidates must be
excellent oral communicators and able to prepare written correspondence with clarity and
fluency.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide general administrative support for the Land Acquisitions team
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Copy Print and transmit documents via email fax mail courier
Perform data entry including entering and updating lot numbers and related project
information in our system
Assemble and transmit confidential Financial Project and Personnel Data
Prepare organize and maintain records and files
Perform other duties to facilitate efficient office operations
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Associates Degree Bachelors degree (preferred)
2 years of administrative experience.
Familiarity with IDOT Tollway CDOT standards desired but not required
At least 2 years of invoice or billing or bookkeeping experience (knowledge of Excel)
Ability to handle confidential company and personnel information with high degree of
discretion
Excellent oral and written communication skills professional demeanor and
commitment to customer service
Ability to multi-task demonstrated ability to handle a variety of projects with competing
priority
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a non-exempt in-person full-time position
Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week
Schedule: 3 days per week (flexible within standard business hours)
Duration: Temporary 3-month assignment
Start Date: Immediate need position open until filled
Physical Demands
This is largely an office role; however occasional out of office tasks may be necessary. This
would require the ability to sit for extended periods of time to lift files open filing cabinets
and bend stand or walk as necessary both in the office and at offsite locations.
