As our Technical Facility Manager youll be responsible for the smooth-running of our entire building (its resources and the building itself) while leading the department and ensuring strong administrative processes. Youll handle internal repairs and carry out preventative maintenance yourself with your colleague while also managing suppliers and contractors for more specialized tasks.
Youll spend around 50% of your time on administration managing suppliers landlord issues maintenance records and compliance making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine behind the scenes. You will work closely together with our department heads and report to the General Manager. You will be leading the department which consists of a Maintenance Coordinator and yourself.
No day looks the same as Technical Facility Manager but heres a glimpse of what you can expect:
- Take ownership of the maintenance plan ensuring that our building (hotel rooms public spaces & back of house areas) stays in top condition.
- Coordinate and carry out maintenance tasks in collaboration with the Maintenance Coordinator and external parties.
- Assigning tasks giving instructions and auditing quality and progress.
- Manage suppliers and contractors end-to-end: from sourcing requesting and reviewing quotes to contracting and following up on performance (incl. Capex projects).
- Act as the troubleshooter in case of issues ranging from common repairs sanitary facilities lighting door mechanics HVAC paintwork and more.
- Provide guidance and support to our Maintenance Coordinator in solving technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Record and manage all repairs in our Building Management System and Maintenance program.
- Manage supplier documentation and service contracts.
- Monitor Building Management System supplies request purchase orders when needed and maintain cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with local fire life safety regulations and other technical standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues or hazards.
- Guarantee that the building complies with local regulations and Zoku standards keeping safety and sustainability at the core.
- A market conform salary in accordance with experience and know-how starting from of 3500 gross per month based on Full time.

A FEWMUST HAVES
- You have a min. of 3 years experience in a similar position preferably in hospitality or building management.
- You have provable technical knowledge (HVAC plumbing electrical systems troubleshooting & repair).
- You are experienced in supplier management & contract administration.
- You are fluent in English Dutch is a plus.
- You are an EU resident or have a valid working permit for The Netherlands.
- You are fully flexible no fixed working days / hours as sometimes you will be working on Saturdays.
- You are available for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
