Qualifications / Experience

Qualification in Computer Science Information Technology Data/Software Engineering Data Science or equivalent
Cloud Computing or Analytics certification advantageous
Senior-level experience in data engineering and machine learning
Focus on Zero Trust Initiative and security analytics
Experience with cloud-based AI platform development and operations
Strong background in DevOps and MLOps practices

Essential Skills Requirements

Data Science and Machine Learning expertise
Data Engineering pipeline development and optimization
MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) implementation
Python programming proficiency for data solutions
CI/CD pipeline design and automation
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation
Terraform for cloud infrastructure management
APIs development integration and management
ETL/ELT process design and implementation
Cloud data platform architecture and deployment

Advantageous Skills Requirements

Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS Azure GCP)
Experience with big data frameworks (Spark Hadoop Kafka)
Competency in streaming technologies and real-time processing
Understanding of data warehousing and Lakehouse concepts
Infrastructure-as-Code and advanced DevOps practices
Data security governance and compliance frameworks
Experience implementing and monitoring data solutions
Data validation and quality assurance methodologies
Analytics and business intelligence tools
Performance optimization and scalability planning

Role Requirements

Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
Develop comprehensive ETL/ELT processes transforming raw data into analyzable formats for reporting and analytics
Work extensively with cloud data platforms for enterprise-scale solutions
Ensure robust data security and regulatory compliance across all data processes
Integrate and consolidate data from SSE platforms enterprise systems and external APIs
Optimize data pipelines for performance reliability and scalability requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring timely and accurate data delivery
Perform comprehensive data validation and quality checks identifying and resolving anomalies proactively
Automate data ingestion transformation and integration workflows
Support analytics machine learning and business initiatives with data-driven solutions
Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements in data architecture and cloud integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across environments minimizing downtime
Own development maintenance and operational support of cloud-based AI platforms
Translate complex business requirements into scalable data-driven solutions
Implement DevOps best practices for data engineering workflows
Additional responsibilities as per AWM Charter or department manager direction
