Splunk DevSecOps Administrator
Location: Montreal QC (Hybrid 1 day/week)
12 months contract

Summary:
In the Observability team we need someone who can perform various tasks related to the configuration implementation and integration of data from various customer teams. Everything must be done in an as-code automated context using modern platforms.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced consultant for the administration of the Splunk tool who can play a key role in supporting our users.
The ideal profile is someone with strong hands-on experience with Splunk including:
Integration of data from various sources;
Creating advanced searches and relevant dashboards;
Presentation and popularization of results for different types of users.
This consultant must also have been able to evolve with technologies and demonstrate a mastery of cloud environments (AWS) as well as as-code practices (Infrastructure as Code Configuration as Code etc.) in order to ensure modern automated and scalable management of the Splunk environment. An ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams understand business needs and propose tailored solutions is essential.

Qualifications:

Modernize and operate the Splunk (AWS/EKS) environment in the context of a team platform and offer self-service and as-code capabilities to our customer teams.
Manage Splunk as-code apps/configs (props/transforms TAs HEC routing RBAC) with code review and automated deployments.
Industrialize data onboarding (HEC S2S Edge/Ingest Processor) standardize and measure data quality.
Support the business/product teams for advanced use cases (detection observability KPIs) and transfer skills.
Technical skills: Splunk (SPL CIM dashboards) AWS (EKS EC2 S3 IAM) Kubernetes (Helm CD Streams) Terraform/Ansible Git scripting (Python/Bash).
