Job Summary
Join the Nalley Consulting team as a Technical Editor at the Pentagon.
Position: Technical Editor
LCAT: Mid
Location: Pentagon
Shift: 0830-1630
Required education / experience:Bachelors degree and 3 years of relevant experience or 7 years of relevant experience.
Required clearance: TS/SCI with active CI poly or willingness to take CI poly.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a writer editor or intelligence analyst in an IC organization
- Knowledge of the intelligence community
- Ability to proofread edit and correct text for style and accuracy
- Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products.
Position Description:
- Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar punctuation and syntax as well as for logic clarity and consistency.
- Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
- Amends draft tables tone boxes and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
- Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
- Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization and negotiates further revisions as needed.
