Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Customer Service Representative

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Customer Service

REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager


General Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all clients by addressing their inquiries resolving issues and delivering timely solutions to meet their needs. This role will require excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls emails and chat inquiries from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries complaints and issues by providing accurate and timely solutions.
  • Provide product and service information to customers by using product knowledge and training materials.
  • Process orders forms applications and requests accurately and efficiently.
  • Attend daily meetings.
  • Enter and manage customer orders and shipments.
  • Working closely with estimating and sales to manage pricing requests for repeat and new business.
  • Help the team as needed with on-site customer visits including but not limited to meeting room and kitchen set up and break down.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales and technical support to resolve customer issues.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services to customers when appropriate.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to customer service and data security.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices in customer service to ensure that the company is providing the highest level of service possible.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Excel required.
  • Knowledge of printing production process raw materials and equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Physical conditions may require sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Flexibility.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of customer service / order management
  • Three or more years of experience in customer service
  • Any combination of experience will be determined by hiring manager.
