Job Summary
Description
Responsibilities:
- Developing a safe working environment.
- Quality control of processes and products.
- Planning and execution of developmental work.
- Planning and execution of cost reduction of products.
- Handling inspection of finished goods.
- Control on incoming raw materials and timely evaluation.
- Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
- Reduction in quality complaints of products.
- Customization of products.
- Customer/ supplier visit.
- Adherence to ISO QMS and Calderys systems.
- Coordination with Marketing / R & D / Project /Application and Supply Chain.
- Training subordinates and monitoring their performance.
Essential: - in Ceramic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control within the refractory monolithics or brick industry
Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and protocols relevant to refractory manufacturing
Preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of ceramics and refractories
- Familiarity with refractory testing and characterization techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Understanding of mineralogy crystallography and phase diagrams
- Knowledge of refractory propertyperformance correlation and installation techniques
- Hands-on experience with testing and characterization tools used in refractory quality assessment
- Leadership qualities including team-building and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively
