Whats the role
Were looking for a senior cyber risk leader to join Westpacs second line Cyber Risk this role youll provide oversight insight and challenge across the Groups cyber risk landscape including application security identity and access third-party risk and AI-related threats.
Youll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape cyber risk strategy oversight controls and ensure the Group operates within its cyber risk appetite. This is a high-impact role with visibility across executive forums and the opportunity to influence how Westpac manages cyber risk at scale.
This is a full-time role based in Sydney with flexible working arrangement available.
What do I need
Were looking for someone who brings:
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity and operational risk
- Experience in one or more domains: application security IAM data security AI or threat detection and response
- Strong knowledge of frameworks like ISO 27001 NIST SABSA PCI DSS
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CISA) highly regarded
