As a Senior Manager Data Migration you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the data migration stream within a key UNITE initiative. Youll work closely with Technology and Business stakeholders across multiple initiatives to ensure alignment delivery and risk mitigation.
Youll lead the development and execution of the migration strategy framework and tooling while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement and governance oversight. Additionally youll build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders whilst promoting best practices in data risk management and governance as it relates to UNITE programs of delivery.
This role sits in the Chief Transformation Office within the Data Delivery team and will require coordination across data provision assessment assurance profiling architecture and migration.
Whats the role
- End-to-End Delivery of the data migration stream including scope cost milestones and value realisation with timely escalation to the Data Delivery Lead.
- Owning and running migration stream Scrum of Scrums ensuring timely completion of the milestones and formalising updates for the Data Delivery lead.
- Joint ownership with Technology of the migration approach strategy tooling and delivery of delivery of the E2E Migration Framework.
- Delivery of migration mapping (S2T) along with owning data cleansing reconciliation execution exception handling and oversight of point-to-point testing.
- Alignment and engagement with UNITE data and migration groups to ensure the UNITE plan is aligned with the initiative.
- Collaborating with the UNITE Data Delivery Leadership Team to align migration milestones and readiness criteria.
- Overseeing and ensuring adoption of Data Migration Factory (DMAAS) for the program aligned with the timelines.
- Ensuring activities related to E2E Data Quality (DQ) fix analysis and execution are aligned to the migration framework and closely monitoring outputs in collaboration with the DQ team.
- Ensuring strong stakeholder engagement with stakeholders remaining actively committed to the project.
- Ownership of the RAID log for the migration stream ensuring risks assumptions issues and dependencies are actively managed.
What do I need
- Experience in Data Migration delivery is essential with hands on knowledge across the migration lifecycle.
- Experience in consulting-style delivery navigating with multiple stakeholders while ensuring the timely delivery.
- Program management skill is required with strong experience in agile delivery frameworks.
- Extensive experience in SQL Python Informatica Teradata skills.
- Relevant Tertiary educationIT statistics quantitative analytics econometrics science mathematics marketing information systems management
- Compliance and legislative awareness pertaining to banking and financial services / marketing
