Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
- Receives unpacks inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies
- Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders
- Ensure all inspections are properly performed and documented
- Inspect shipping and receiving equipment and notify supervisor for need of maintenance repair or preplacement
- Assist with regular audits of physical counts of inventory reconciling counts with system records
- Work with company computer systems and courier software (FedEx UPS DHL etc.)
- General warehouse duties
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external customers vendors and fellow employees
- Keep receiving shipping and warehouse areas clean neat safe and secure
- Responsible to ensure all incoming materials adhere to quality inspection standards in accordance with the companys Control manual and Quality Management System
- Process items into Pentagon and/or Quantum accurately and efficiently
- Verify materials shipped to customers and vendors meet the purchase/repair order internal and customer requirements
- Keep track of parts and tooling in inspection/quarantine areas
Education and Experience:
- 3 years prior experience performing shipping & receiving duties
- High School diploma or equivalent
- FAA A&P license desired
Abilities and Skills:
- Read write and understand the English Language
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be efficient with a desire to succeed
- Must have strong verbal and written communications Skills
- Must Exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Subject to continual loud noises
- Must be able to bend stoop kneel and stand for prolonged periods of time climb steps ladders and/or service ramps
