Archer Meat Snacks the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel is seeking a Production Coordinator to support and streamline daily plant operations. Reporting to the Production Manager this role will be a key driver of efficiency training and continuous improvement across our Vernon facility.
Youll take ownership of performance tracking documentation and safety initiatives while partnering cross-functionally on plant-wide projects. If youre looking for a fast-paced role where your attention to detail and process mindset will make an immediate impact this is the opportunity for you.
What Youll Own & Impact:
Develop and deliver detailed work instructions to ensure compliance and support associate training
Enter analyze and communicate daily KPI data highlighting trends and opportunities for improvement
Maintain and manage the plant-wide project calendar coordinating priorities across teams
Own the production training matrix ensuring training records are accurate and up to date
Oversee production tool logs and digitize production forms into the Safety Chain system
Lead 5S initiatives with production leads and conduct weekly safety walkthroughs
Partner with cross-functional leaders to execute CI projects focused on efficiency waste reduction and quality
Create production work orders in ERP and assist with verifying inventory and builds
Provide additional support to Production Manager and Supervisors as needed to ensure smooth operations
What Sets You Apart:
3 years of relevant experience in production manufacturing or operations (required)
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Strong Microsoft 365 skills particularly Excel and Word (required)
Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards such as lockout/tagout (preferred)
Experience with Six Sigma Kaizen Lean or 5S methodologies (preferred)
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Analytical problem solver with a proactive approach to continuous improvement

Location & Schedule:
This role is based in our Vernon CA facility and requires on-site presence to support daily plant operations.
