Job Summary

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

As a part of the E&C India Site Management organization the Site Construction Engineer - FBT is responsible for construction of Flat Bottom Tanks at the site assigned to him.
The Site Construction Engineer:
a. Represents E&C India towards the client partners and sub-contractors in all Construction related issues.
b. Assumes ownership and takes responsibility for the Construction activities on site.
c. Manages the construction interfaces between disciplines at site as well as between partners and subcontractors.
d. Demonstrates an inter-discipline mindset intellectual and honest profile.
e. Demonstrates beside relevant technical experience a strong management and leadership capability.
f. Ensures the quality of the works according to our internal and international requirements.
g. Provides realistic reliable and verifiable reports on Construction issues benchmarks trends and achievement of milestones.

Safety and IMS:

Complies with IMS

Has a personal commitment to safety

Regular Site Safety Walk down to identify and mitigate the construction potential risks.

Regular Safety Meeting and Training to the worker involved in job.

Quality:

Develops a consistent concept for the execution of the work on the basis of E&C internal and contractual standards specifications and applicable codes.

Develops and implements in joint consultation with the Site Manager & Quality Manager project-specific working instructions and procedures utilizing the E&C Construction standards

Conducts regular inspections with Site QA/QC Manager as per approved ITPs and internal audits with proper recording and follow up of the findings

Schedule :

Maintaining the planning or scheduling system to perform optimally by tracking the work completed started and remaining

Waste Management :

Waste Generation Rate

Construction Waste Management

Labour Downtime

Equipment Downtime

Sustainability :

Minimise the Carbon Footprint.

Energy Consumption

Waste Reduction Rate

Water Footprint

Financial Contribution:

Successful completion of the works within defined quality benchmarks.

Operative effectiveness:

Handles deviations disputes modifications and clarifications required at site in a prompt and qualified manner.

Are you a MATCH

Education: Engineering Degree

Discipline: Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience: 8-10 years at a construction site

Foreign Language: English

Major international codes and standards

Principles and basic knowledge of engineering in all disciplines

Basic knowledge of Site Safety Procedures

Knowledge of ISO 9001 system

Experience of Site Execution related to construction of Site fabricated Double Wall Flat Bottom Tanks Perform Equipment Inspections (Review of lifting Equipment Lifting Plans etc.)
