The firm deliberately takes on a select number of cases focusing on quality over quantity so that every client receives the time care and legal expertise they deserve.

The firm handles impactful matters in personal injury employment law tenant rights and complex civil litigation. They are deeply committed to pursuing meaningful results for their clients not churning out cases. If you want to practice law in an environment where your litigation skills take center stage without being buried in pre-litigation work or pressured by unrealistic volume this is the role for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a litigation caseload of 2535 active cases focusing solely on litigation (no pre-litigation duties).
• Draft and respond to pleadings discovery and motions including dispositive and evidentiary motions.
• Develop litigation strategies conduct risk assessments and provide thoughtful client counseling.
• Take ownership of trial preparation including trial briefs witness examinations jury instructions and courtroom advocacy.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex and high-value cases.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm by sharing knowledge mentoring when appropriate and improving processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 25 years of plaintiff-side litigation experience with trial experience preferred.
• Strong background in personal injury litigation (experience in employment law tenant rights or related civil litigation areas is also valued).
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Excellent legal research writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to think strategically solve complex problems and manage cases independently.
• Defense-side experience (e.g. insurance defense) is considered a strong asset.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Salary Compensation: $150000 - $190000
• Plus commission/attorney fee structure on settled cases
