Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate vehicles to transport goods and or materials to designated locations.
Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries or arrivals.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
Load and unload goods as necessary ensuring all items are secured safely.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries including delivery logs fuel usage and mileage.
Provide excellent customer service to clients
Assist with any other duties as required including vehicle cleaning and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver s license (specific type depending on the vehicle).
Clean driving record with no history of accidents or major violations.
Previous experience as a driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physically able to handle lifting and carrying goods when necessary.
