This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work casually as an Advanced Recovery Support Worker role in our Gold Coast location. Your next role could see you delivering evidence-based recovery-oriented support to individuals at risk of homelessness recently discharged from acute mental health wards or engaged with community mental health services. Youll empower clients to achieve their personal recovery goals and aspirations assist with daily living tasks and build strong professional relationships with stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes.
No day is the same but it may include:
- Delivering client support by using RFQs Model of Practice/Peer Work Framework including safety assessments recovery planning skills development and community connection.
- Supporting service quality and compliance by assisting supervisors with Individual Service Agreements reporting KPI tracking and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Fostering collaboration and stakeholder engagement by working with internal and external partners and participating in networks to maintain sector knowledge and improve client outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and contribute to improvement initiatives including tech use innovation and process enhancement.
- Supporting team dynamics and provide supervision problem-solving conflict resolution and on-call support as required.
- This role will include weekend work shiftwork and sleepover shifts.
You will need:
- Four-year degree in a human services related field with at least one-year relevant experience or less formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the community and/or mental health sector
- Experienced in or able to quickly develop skills in creating support plans based on client needs and practice models.
- Proven ability to provide supervision support and build effective working relationships.
- Skilled in planning prioritising and delegating tasks to meet team and individual goals.
- Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet outcomes.
- Effective in communication conflict resolution and demonstrating emotional intelligence.
