Our Client is a leading Traffic/Civil Engineering firm that provides Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Tolling Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning consulting services in the Mid-Atlantic region.
They are currently looking for an independent Senior Traffic Engineer with 10 years of experience. They will be asked to interpret traffic analysis plan development and reviews design calculations field surveys technical writing and other tasks related to traffic engineering.
Design assignments may include signing pavement marking traffic signals and temporary traffic control plans.
*BS or MS Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (Bachelors Needed Masters Preferred)
*PE License required
*Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic analysis software is required
*Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation
*PTOE Certification preferred
*Experience with PTV Vistro/Vissim is preferred
*NCEES Record preferred
*Familiarity with PennDOT/PA Turnpike/Port Authority of NY NJ/VDOT standards MUTCD and AASHTO guidelines
