Job Summary

MetroEHS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Recruiting Manager to join our growing team! This position is hybrid with travel to our Headquarters located in Plymouth Michigan and occasional travel to our clinics as warranted.

The Recruiting Manager is a strategic leader who plans develops and directs all proactive full-cycle recruitment activities. This role oversees a team of skilled recruiters and support staff ensuring they meet goals and comply with hiring and onboarding processes to efficiently and preemptively hire the best provider talent. The Recruiting Manager is responsible for building a robust talent pipeline anticipating staffing needs before they arise and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.

Your Impact

As a Recruiting Manager at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy you will provide:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to proactively fill open roles and build a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates. This includes actively sourcing screening interviewing and hiring new providers. Youll also execute recruitment plans by aggressively pursuing and engaging well-qualified candidates from a variety of sources with a focus on hard-to-fill markets.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Provide strategic direction and direct supervision to the recruitment team. This includes setting clear goals coaching and mentoring staff and managing all administrative aspects of the team such as approving PTO and handling leaves of absence. You will also conduct performance appraisals recommend merits and promotions and administer corrective actions when necessary.
  • Operational & Financial Oversight: Oversee the recruitment budget and manage all subscriptions and logins for necessary recruiting software. You will also proactively pursue new candidate sourcing strategies coordinate recruiting team coverage at job fairs and career expos and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure recruiting efforts are meeting business needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a strategic partner to the broader organization by working collaboratively with the leadership team and other departments. You will facilitate regular meetings to review progress and problem-solve challenges as well as provide regular updates and written reports including metrics on time-to-fill cost-per-hire and candidate quality
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: Continuously work to improve staffing processes like sourcing and selection. Develop plans for proactively attracting talent in hard-to-fill markets and ensure that all recruitment activities comply with state and federal labor laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of recruiting experience with proven experience in a recruiting leadership role preferably within a pediatric therapy or healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience within the recruiting field.
  • Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of proactive full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of recruiters.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies that build a talent pipeline.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment systems preferably Trakstar.
  • Proficiency in Paychex preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and report on recruitment performance.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations related to hiring practices.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Prolonged Sitting and Desk Work: Remaining seated for extended periods (up to 6 hours per day) while performing computer-based tasks filing scheduling and data entry.
  • Frequent Computer Use & Fine Motor Skills: Continuous use of keyboards mice and other office equipment; tasks require precise finger dexterity for typing filing and handling small office supplies.
  • Visual Acuity Requirements: Ability to read printed materials and computer screens for data entry document review and patient records.
  • Telephone & Verbal Communication: Constant phone interaction; clear speech and active listening are essential for scheduling appointments addressing inquiries and coordinating with clinical staff.
  • Light to Moderate Lifting: Lifting and carrying office supplies paper reams (up to 20 lbs) patient folders small equipment or mail bins; occasional need to move office furniture or equipment.
  • Mobility within Facility: Walking between offices therapy rooms and other areas; negotiating stairs or uneven flooring; ability to navigate a busy sometimes crowded reception area.
  • Stressful or Fast-Paced Environment: Managing multiple administrative tasks and patient needs concurrently; ability to prioritize under pressure and maintain composure during peak periods.
  • Shared Workspace & Open Office Setting: Working in cubicles or open-plan areas which may include background noise from phones printers or conversations.
  • Exposure to Common Office Hazards: Potential for paper cuts minor repetitive strain injuries (e.g. carpal tunnel) and ergonomic risksrequires adherence to proper workstation setup and occasional use of ergonomic aids.

Location

  • Remote/Hybrid opportunity with travel to MetroEHS Headquarters in Plymouth MI and occasional travel to our clinic locations and career fairs/conferences as warranted.

Status

  • Full-Time 40-45 hours per week.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Compensation

  • Annual salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
