JOB TITLE: Club Coordinator - Theatre Company Assistant
Position Overview
The Theatre Company Assistant works under the direction of the Theatre Company Director to support the development organization and production of all theatre activities.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Artistic Support
Assist the Theatre Company Director in planning and carrying out the theatre season including fundraising.
Promote creativity professionalism and teamwork within the company.
Rehearsals & Production
Support the Director in scheduling preparing and supervising rehearsals.
Assist with backstage management run crew organization and technical coordination (sets props costumes lighting sound).
Monitor student progress and help maintain rehearsal discipline and focus.
Student Development & Community Engagement
Help coordinate parent staff and community involvement in productions.
Support promotional efforts for performances and program visibility.
Administrative & Organizational Duties
Assist with auditions casting and crew assignments.
Help track attendance rehearsal schedules and production timelines.
Ensure rehearsal and performance spaces are properly prepared and maintained.
Qualifications
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff students and families.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed for rehearsals and performances.
Passion for theatre education and student development.
Preferred Skills
Background in stagecraft choreography or music theatre production.
Experience working with high school students in a theatre or educational environment.
Ability to problem-solve and adapt in fast-paced creative settings.
