Salary & Benefits:
$1750 Sign-On Bonus for new Hire!(paid in 2 installments at 3 months and 6 months with successful completion of Orientation)
$1500 Referral Bonus for current Staff!
Salary Range: $31.68-36.43 hour
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday -9am-2pm Thursday -10am-4pm Friday -9am-2pm (25hours/week)
Location: Fitchburg and Worcester
Essential Job Functions:
Facilitate individual and group expressive therapy sessions using various creative modalities (art music movement drama etc.).
Develop and implement group lessons plans tailored to the unique needs and goals.
Foster an inclusive supportive and safe environment where clients feel free to express themselves.
Collaborate with other team members including behavior analysts Person-Centered Plan Managers and educators to provide holistic care and support.
Track and document progress ensuring all records are kept confidential and up to date.
Provide guidance and support to individuals and staff members in understanding the therapeutic process and benefits of expressive therapy.
Qualifications:
A licensed or certified Expressive Arts Therapist or a related credential with experience working in therapeutic settings.
Experienced in using creative therapies to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
Compassionate patient and empathetic with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
A strong communicator both with individuals and within interdisciplinary teams.
Creative resourceful and able to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients.
Passionate about promoting inclusion empowerment and self-expression for individuals of all abilities.
