RRU NL is part of the Risk organization within ING Bank NL. Our mission is to manage problem loans in a safe compliant and data-driven way minimizing losses for both our clients and ING. Our objective is to preserve principal with the focus on creating a sustainable financial situation for our case this is not feasible we shift our focus to maximizing recovery. All while continuously improving our processes through lessons learned and ensuring compliancy with all in- and external policies and regulations.
As Team Lead Sector RRU NL you will lead a sector-focused team within RRU NL responsible for clients in Business Banking and Private Banking with credit exposures ranging from 1 million to 20 million. You will combine hands-on expertise with leadership responsibilities including:
Leading and developing a team of Restructuring and Recovery specialists
Managing complex restructuring and recovery cases
Manage the total problem loan portfolio of RRU NL in a way the portfolio capital consumption is minimized
Ensure RRU NL is at all times timely ready to deal with existing and new inflow of problem loan files.
Contributing to the loan loss provisioning processes (IFRS 9) including reporting and compliance
Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations for example guidelines on lending to small business customers IFRS rules and EBA guidelines.
Driving change initiatives and process improvements within the tribe with focus on digitization and risk by design
Acting as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders including clients (legal) advisors auditors and regulators
Contributing to lessons learned and knowledge sharing across the organization
