We are currently seeking a committed Special Education Instructional Assistant to join the post-high and Lee Elementary Schoolteams. This is a part-time temporary position that will support the following programs:
  • Post-high program at the Ackerman Center2 days per week for 6.5 hours a day and three days per week for 3.5 hours a day.
  • Lee Elementary School 3 days per week for 3 hours per day.
  • The total hours are 6.5 per day Monday through Friday.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associates degree or a minimum of 72 college/university quarter credits (Required)
    • Certification as a highly qualified paraprofessional may be substituted for the education requirement
  • Possess or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification (Required)
  • Experience working with children or youth in educational childcare or behavioral settings (Required)
    Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral/communication needs (Preferred)
