The opportunity

As our Manager youll be providing international transaction tax services including tax structuring tax due diligence and tax modelling to a broad range of high-profile clients. This is a hybrid position. This role is based in Naarm Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• Advise Australian and international financial services groups and institutional investors (e.g. banks insurance companies investment managers funds such as pension funds sovereign wealth funds) on all tax aspects of their transactions including acquisitions disposals refinancing restructuring new funds and initial public offerings.
• Assist clients throughout the transaction life cycle from initial due diligence to post-deal implementation including providing buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence services tax transaction support tax structuring advice and reviewing transaction documentation and tax modelling services.
• Participate in project managing transaction timetables and deliverables ensuring timely and accurate completion of all related tasks.

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally youll have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.

• Minimum of five years experience in Australian tax consulting within a top-tier accounting firm corporate tax advisory or legal environment with a strong background in inbound and outbound transactions international tax planning compliance due diligence deal structuring and post-acquisition planning.
• Proven ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex tax concepts to clients while managing budgets projects and teams effectively.
• Demonstrated strength in building client relationships and delivering high levels of client service.
