Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Workshop Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our commercial truck workshop. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in heavy-duty vehicles with strong leadership skills ensuring that service and repair work is executed efficiently safely and to the highest standards. This role requires someone who can lead a team of technicians maintain operational productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of all workshop staff including mechanics apprentices and support personnel.
- Assign work monitor progress and ensure timely completion of service maintenance and repair jobs on commercial trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Diagnose complex technical issues provide guidance to technicians and ensure quality control on all work performed.
- Maintain workshop health safety and environmental standards ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
- Oversee workshop inventory including spare parts and tools and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment.
- Conduct staff training mentoring and performance evaluations to develop skills and maintain high team standards.
- Liaise with the Service Manager and Sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workshop efficiency and reduce downtime.

- Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics transmissions and truck electrical systems.
- Proven ability to manage a team plan workloads and maintain quality standards under pressure.

Qualifications:
