Informatica Platform Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Informatica Platform Engineer in Jersey City NJ.

Responsibilities:

* Informatica Platform Engineer will install and configure Informatica components

* Set up database connections secure agents and firewall rules

* Enable and maintain single sign-on (SSO) capabilities

* Monitor platform health and performance

* Troubleshoot connectivity and synchronization issues

* Manage platform upgrades patches and enhancements

* Integrate metadata from various sources

* Implement and maintain data lineage mappings and cataloging processes

* Configure and manage Active Directory (AD) group access for compliance

* Enforce data governance policies including PII identification GDPR CCPA NYDFS compliance

* Maintain audit trails and version control for configuration changes

* Build and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter IICS or IDMC

* Develop matching and merging logic for Master Data Management (MDM)

* As an Informatica Platform Engineer you will create dashboards IDD screens and remediation workflows

* Work closely with data stewards business stakeholders and IT teams

* Document processes runbooks and configuration changes

* Conduct knowledge transfer and paired programming sessions

* Migrate legacy pipelines to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS

* Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Informatica environments

Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related study and/or equivalent experience * Minimum 6 years of experience in the IT industry * 4 years of experience working as Administrator for Informatica Data Quality and/or Informatica Data Integration Hub platforms in 24*7 global environment; This includes but limited to installation configuration upgrade and on-going Administration activities * Experience Administering Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange products * Intermediate level experience with Linux shell scripting * Experienced in collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams * Excellent problem management and troubleshooting skills
