Job Summary
ob Opening: 2D/3D Game Artist (Full-time)
Location: On-site Bangalore (Marathalli)
Compensation: 4.5 - 6 Lakh per annum (Negotiable based on experience and skill)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 2D/3D Game Artist with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic game development team. As a Game Artist you will play a crucial role in the creation of visually stunning and engaging assets for our game projects. This is a full-time on-site role at our Bangalore office where you will work closely with the design and development team to bring concepts to life across various art styles and project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Creation: Develop high-quality 2D and 3D game assets including characters environments props and visual effects.
Concept Art and amp; Visual Development: Create concept art mood boards and visual designs to establish the overall visual direction.
Modeling and amp; Texturing: Model texture rig and animate characters and environments as per project requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development team to ensure the assets fit within the gameplay environment and align with the creative vision.
Iteration and amp; Feedback: Adapt and iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and technical constraints ensuring assets are optimized for performance.
Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to switch between different art tasks and styles based on evolving project needs.
Requirements
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in 2D/3D game art creation with a strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D assets.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Blender Maya 3ds Max Substance Painter or similar software.
Strong understanding of the game art pipeline (modeling texturing rigging and animation).
Solid knowledge of asset optimization techniques for performance.
Ability to create visually appealing and stylistically consistent assets for different game genres.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to take feedback and work collaboratively within a team environment.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
On-Site Role: Willingness and ability to work on-site in Bangalore.
Nice to Have
Game Engine Experience: Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine.
Game Design Principles: Understanding of basic game design principles especially how art integrates with gameplay.
Prior Indie Game/Startup Experience: Experience working in an indie game or startup environment where creativity and flexibility are crucial.
